We are excited to have Matt Horvath from Ernst & Young's Transaction Advisory Services (Valuation) group come in to speak with us about his career and practice.
He is looking to specifically recruit SIA Analysts for an entry level position beginning September 2012. This is for an entry level position beginning September 2012. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about a career in valuation and get a head start on recruiting.
Note: Business Casual is required and please bring your resumes for Matt to collect.

Hello,
Please join us for our weekly meeting this Wednesday, Nov 9th, 2011. The meeting will be at 6 PM in room N124 of the Business College.
We are going to be giving mid-semester feedback this week. We have a sample presentation and offer suggestions for improvement based on things we have noticed in previous presentations. This meeting is mandatory for all Analyst Program members and for those that are interested in joining the Analyst Program next semester.
We will also hold a resume workshop at the end of meeting. We are having a Senior recruiter from Ernst and Young's Transactions Advisory Services (Valuation) team join us the following Wednesday. He has spots on his team left to fill and is looking to recruit SIA members. This workshop will let us help put you in best position for this meeting.
We look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday.

SIA Detroit Roadshow Application

We are excited to announce our Fall Roadshow will be in Detroit this year.
The SIA is excited to visit several financial services companies in metropolitan Detroit, including investment banks, valuation firms, and private equity firms, on Friday, October 28th. All members are encouraged to apply by completing the following application, which is due on Friday, October 14th.

Tomorrow, Bloomberg’s Campus Ambassador will be presenting about the new Bloomberg Assessment Test, which could potentially help get you in contact with some of the larger investment banks.
Afterwards, we will be having an informal “get to know SIA” mixer with free pizza and pop. We want to use this time as a chance for members to not only get to know the E-Board better, but also get to know each other better as well.
