❓ FAQ — You may be wondering…
1 — What if my photos aren’t perfect?
That’s so normal — please don’t worry!
Share whatever you have: a favorite detail, a quick snapshot, even a blurry memory…
Some people have no photos at all of the place in their heart — that’s okay too!
With your story, we can recreate so much.
What matters most is the emotion — not the camera quality.
2 — How does it begin?
With a conversation.
You tell me the story of this place and how it makes you feel — the light, the colors, the memories tied to it.
Your emotion is just as important as the photos… sometimes even more.
3 — What does the creation process look like?
Step by step, hand in hand:
-
you send me your photos / videos / memories
-
I create a first sketch for you to review
-
we adjust together if needed
-
we choose the colour palette
-
I paint the light, the details, the poetry
And you receive a refuge-place that forever belongs to you.
4 — How long will it take?
I take the time needed to honor your story.
Most artworks require 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the level of detail and my schedule.
Shipping (if chosen) may add 1–2 weeks.
And of course — I update you at every step.
5 — Why not send the original painting on paper or canvas?
A few reasons 🌱
I often combine traditional hand-painting with a final digital hand-finish — still handcrafted, but perfected with my stylus.
International shipping of originals can be expensive, slow, and unpredictable due to customs and damage risks.
Local fine-art printing instead:
✨ reduces environmental impact
✨ avoids surprise fees
✨ gives you freedom of size, paper & framing
✨ supports local artisans where you live
But… if you truly want a fully traditional original, just tell me — I’ll send a special quote.
6 — Who handles printing and framing?
Either a trusted fine art printer near you,
or one of my professional partners (museum-grade prints worldwide).
Quality is always a priority: archival inks, fine-art papers, FSC wooden frames…
7 — What if I want changes?
Of course! That’s what the sketch stage is for 💛
We also choose colors together.
And before final delivery, you can request small refinements — so you feel truly delighted with the result.
8 — Can you create a large format?
Absolutely ✨
Large formats bring more emotion, more depth, more garden magic:
lush leaves, tiny flowers, hidden details you discover over time…
Even a mural can be explored if your heart dreams big.
9 — Can you add a person… or a special detail?
Nothing makes me happier.
A cat by the door, a favorite chair, a parent gardening, a secret treehouse...
Those tiny details? They’re the ones that make hearts melt.
10 — Will the artwork be signed?
Yes — every physical print is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Your artwork is always unique.
11 — What if it’s a gift?
A beautiful idea 💚
If you know the place we will illustrate, you can gift the final framed piece.
But if you’re unsure, or short on time, I can send you a beautiful gift card.
The recipient will choose the location that makes their heart beat.
12 — What occasions is this for?
Weddings • Anniversaries • Home purchases • Births • Engagements • Farewells • Travel memories • A gift for parents • A tribute to someone dear…
Every meaningful moment deserves to be honoured.
13 — Is this eco-friendly?
Yes 🙌 Archival papers & water-based inks, local printing, recyclable packaging —
and reduced transportation = a lighter footprint 🌍
Art that respects the planet feels even more beautiful.
14 — What if I don’t love the final result?
With the sketch approval, color choices, and a final round of light adjustments, we remove (almost) all risk of disappointment.
But yes — there is always a bit of “magic surprise”. My goal is to make it a wonderful one ✨
And of course — any damaged shipment will be replaced.
15 — How does payment work?
After our first call, I send a quote.
To book your commission, a 40% deposit is required.
Then I begin creating → you approve the final result → you pay the balance → I deliver the high-resolution file to you and the printer for production + shipping.
Clear, flexible, and smooth 🌿
